Virtual Boat Shows

Virtual Boat Shows Trend or Fad?

There is no doubt COVID-19 has forced many to rethink how they could continue being productive and essential in a environment where social distancing seems necessary for survival.  As many cities around the world began closing down and forcing Stay at Home orders, Palm Beach County was no exception, just 2 weeks before the Palm Beach Boat Show was due to start.

As the epicenter for boating & yachting,  Florida has been hit pretty hard during this pandemic.  Most city/county ramps were forced to close as boaters violated orders to congregate in large groups…and normal activities as boat shows, previewing vessels at local marinas and so forth came to a halt.
The industry has responded to the pandemic and are starting to analyze ways to safely open boat shows, however, for the time being they are turning to Virtual Boat Shows.

Boat International will be kicking off a Virtual Boat show on April 27th, offering a host of specially curated content.

In response to the cancelled Palm Beach Boat Show, Informa will too be bringing a virtual edition of the show on May 14th when the boat was original postponed to. Palm Beach Boat Show goes Virtual.

We at Yachting Experts, have decided to take a different approach to the Virtual Experience.  With a large skepticism and feedback from our database, we have taken the position to offer a semi-personal approach to Virtual Boat Shopping.  Ultimately, our clients are in control and we are facilitators.

We invite you to visit our website and look at our featured listings.  If your interest is peaked, please reach out and lets us know how we can bring you to the vessel, be it virtually through FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, or other—or arrange for a private showing ensuring we are compliant with social distancing efforts.
Photos, videos, tours, they are all a means to get excited about a boat…but the actual sensory fulfillment of touching, feeling & smelling the boat is priceless.  We understand that and would never want to jeopardize that experience.

When you are ready to resume your activities, we will be here for you!  In the meantime, be safe and know that we are praying for you and your loved ones to go back to your normal activities SAFELY.
